/// STAYING ALIVE

YOUR QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

A little clarity.
A little reassurance.

Understand the concept, explore the demo and see what is planned for a future service.

What is Staying Alive?

Staying Alive is a product concept for people living independently. It combines a simple daily check-in with trusted contacts, family connection and practical support.

Is the app available as a live service?

The app linked from this website is an interactive prototype for team and partner discussion. It uses sample data and browser-local interactions. A production launch date has not been announced.

How does the daily check-in work?

The intended flow is to choose a wake time, set up trusted contacts and tap “I’M ALIVE” each day. The demo resets a 24-hour countdown so you can explore the experience.

What happens if I miss a check-in?

The proposed service alerts your trusted contacts when your check-in window expires. Acknowledgement and fallback escalation are part of the membership concept. In the current demo, alerts are simulated and no real messages are sent.

What is Assist Mode?

Assist Mode lets you choose a shorter check-in window for an activity, from five minutes to 24 hours. You can start a timer and end it when you are safe. The website preview demonstrates this flow.

Can family members share locations and chat?

Yes, family location sharing and family chat are included in the product concept. The demo uses sample locations and simulated messages. It does not provide live tracking or a shared messaging service between devices.

How does the five-minute video-call trigger work?

The Ultra Premium concept includes a five-minute video-call trigger involving one or two selected trusted contacts. The prototype demonstrates the trigger; it does not establish a real video call.

Does the demo detect real falls or connect to health devices?

No. Fall detection and approved smart health-device connections are demonstrated through sample readings and simulated events. Production support will depend on compatible devices, permissions and approved integrations.

What are Medical, Wishes and Digital Will?

These are proposed areas for medical information, personal preferences and important documents or instructions for loved ones. The current preview uses sample content and is not a secure document vault or a service for creating a legally valid will.

What memberships are proposed?

The website presents Free, Premium at $5 per month and Ultra Premium at $10 per month. Prices, currency, country availability and service allowances remain proposals for confirmation. There is no payment collection on this website.

Will yearly membership be available?

Monthly and yearly memberships are planned. The proposed Ultra Premium yearly loyalty incentive is a 1% discount for each consecutive subscribed year, capped at 10%, resetting if membership lapses. Final yearly pricing has not been confirmed.

What is the relationship with Manulife?

This website presents a proposed Manulife-branded partnership concept. The branding is used for discussion and visualisation. It does not announce a signed partnership, endorsement or live Manulife service.

Can I use the demo for real safety monitoring?

No. The prototype does not send real safety alerts, monitor emergencies, place real calls or guarantee that someone will respond. It is intended to demonstrate and test the product concept.

How can I share feedback or discuss a pilot?

Use the Contact page to email Timothy with your feedback or organisation details. Pilot participation, timing and eligibility have not yet been published.
